Key Upper Body Points
GB21 (top of shoulders): relieves neck and shoulder tension. LI4 (web between thumb and index finger): headaches and general pain. SI3 (edge of hand): neck and back pain. The suboccipital ridge (base of skull): tension headaches and eye strain.
Key Lower Body Points
GB30 (buttock): sciatica and hip pain. ST36 (below knee): fatigue and general wellness. SP6 (inner ankle): stress and sleep. KD1 (sole of foot): grounding and relaxation. BL57 (calf): leg cramps and lower back pain.
How to Work Pressure Points
Apply firm, steady pressure with your thumb for 30-60 seconds. Breathe deeply and encourage your partner to breathe into the pressure. Release gradually, not abruptly. Start with lighter pressure and increase based on feedback. Combine pressure point work with flowing massage for best results.
